Design Capabilities
3D Modelling
A 3D model needs no interpretation, which greatly simplifies the communication of design intent to the rest of the design team – the machinists, sales and marketing staff, process engineers and customers.
Solidworks is the global standard in 3D Mechanical design software. At DesignPro we utilize this software and its many aspects including design solutions analyse tools to simulate real world conditions and allow different cinereous to be tested.
Virtual Prototyping
Using 2D drawings of product components and subassembly mates, engineers cannot fully determine fit, interface and function of assembly components. Consequently, problems often don’t surface until physical prototypes are created late in the design cycle, when problems are extremely costly and time consuming to resolve. By being able to visualize parts and assemblies in 3D, engineers can assess, fit and tolerances issues early in the design process long before parts are manufactured.
PDM system (Product Data Management)
Our PDM system provides us with a way to automate process and to efficiently create, manage and share design data not only within our organisation but to outside supply chain partners and customers as well. As a result this improves data management and automation workflow across multiple sites.
2D to 3D Conversion Services
2D to 3D conversion services helps in converting older drawings into 3D solid models. Models are available in a number of common native and generic file formats. Manual drawings or electronic drawings in AutoCAD format can be converted. We can produce 3 dimensional renderings of a product for use in evaluating appearance form, fit or function. These renderings can also be used as illustrations in manuals and sales literature.
E-Drawings
Our clients utilize this software to analysis our 3D proposals and distribute among their colleagues. This can be downloaded here.
